My system cannot boot after I have installed the ULTRA
124F.
You may have a Super VGA adapter in your system and set the BIOS
address of the ULTRA 124F at the default of C8000H. Try changing
the BIOS address to either D0000H or D8000H by using the EISA
Configuration Utility.
How do I clear the logical drive definitions stored in
the non-violatile RAM of the
ULTRA 124F?
Run the U124.EXE utility. The Prep to Ship option under DEBUG
clears all settings in the non-violatile RAM.
When I run the U124.EXE utility, the program hangs while
loading the forms.
Make sure you have at least 560K of RAM available before running
the U124.EXE utility. Remove TSRs from memory to free up additional
RAM if necessary.
Can I attach a CD-ROM or a tape drive to the ULTRA 124F?
No. The ULTRA 124F currently accepts hard disk drives only.
Is the ULTRA 124F Novell certified?
Yes. For further information regarding the Novell Certification,
please contact our technical support department.
When I run the U124.EXE utility, the program hangs while
initializing the
mailbox slots.
You may be using a hard drive that is incompatible with the ULTRA 124F. Please check the Certification List for a listing of drives that have beening tested with the ULTRA 124F.
